hey guys, some of you may be aware that i've had really bad problems with reg. i know everyone gets problems with regs but mine is to the extent where ill be happy if one bolt out of a 5 shot bow clip actually registers (when every shot has been on target) i only started again about a month ago and had this problem instantly. i thought it was my computer so i formatted. it did actually seem to make a difference and some of you (i know worldspawn did) may have noticed it made a big difference to my play.
unfortunately it seems to have gone back to how it was and im literally half the player i am when my reg is fine 
i've been using these settings:
cl_updaterate 99
cl_cmdrate 99
updaterate 25000
rate 25000
ex_interp 0.05
i think maybe im missing cl_resend and cl_cmdbackup as i think they made a difference but lost them.
i actually ping around 7 in good servers so it seems bizarre that i get less reg than someone with 100 ping. does anyone know what other circumstances cause bad reg or any advice?
Would love to fix this, its so frustrating and depressing when you need to shoot someone twice as much to kill them

ok i actually just found out something very interesting and quite bizarre.
apparently half-life default for ex_interp is 0.01, i.e. if you set it as 0, it defaults to 0.01
anything above that allows you to shoot further behind them to kill and shouldn't happen. for some bizarre reason AG actually restricts you to between 0.05 and 0.1 which is obviously above the default meaning you have to aim slightly behind to kill someone.
i think this maybe part of the main problem with my reg is i like to aim direct and not behind. i guess this isnt someting that can be fixed tho as its built into ag
on the other hand it doesnt explain why i did have a period why i had good reg. damn it
